Neurological conditions
We are particularly interested in the role of strength and conditioning in those recently diagnosed with progressive neurological diseases such as Parkinson’s Disease.
Exercise, particularly high-intensity resistance training, has become a mainstay of managing these conditions.
Diagnoses for these conditions tend to come in middle age, where people are still fit and active and looking forward to retirement. Exercise programs are aimed improving real-world strength and balance, combating the effects of ageing and providing the best possible base from which to manage your condition.
